My RE recommended DHEA for me. The research I have done states that it's not advisable to take over-the-counter, since they say that the doc should check your levels first in order to decide the proper dosage. However, as an aside, the case at my clinic led docs to start using DHEA. A woman accidentally came upon it ( over the counter), starting using it, and produced an abundant amount of eggs. In fact, I believe she was in her early 40's.
