Well I am alive and hopefully I will doing well. What I didn't know was that the cancer treatments that saved my life may also have left me infertile. Why didn'tsomeone tell me this? I don't know if that is my case or not, but at this point I am expecting the worse. I am also of an age where I can't wait too long to keep trying the natural way and will soon have to make a decision about trying something more agressive. I just wish someone had told me everything about the chemo.

I wish you a continued successful recovery. Did you have breast cancer? I was under the impression that most cancer treatments were well targeted at the affected areas. But I gather from your comment that is not necessarily so. I am especially fearful of breast cancer for that reason, as the location is central and would seem very difficult to target.

Nancy'd Mom, I hope you are doing okay. I have since learned more about cancer treatments that they are a combination of hope and experience, and best itentions aside they may include some "collateral" damage. But I also heard that all you need is an egg or two (and a sperm or two) that has managed to prevail and there are treatments that can make that work.
I am praying f or you. |
