my mother used to say that each of her kids, the six of us she had, told her our names before we were born. she'd get a feeling what we wanted through the time she carried us. didn't matter the sex. she thought she was having a patricia but it ended up as my brother patrick. yet when i had mine, i wanted louise. for some reason i couldn't get it out of my head. but my husband said no way. it sounded to old he said. plus he had his own ideas. we settled on rosie which i admit i like very much. these days babies get named by committee. or they get an acceptable name as their real name, and the family name or sentiment name for their middle name.

I agree. It's hard to come to an agreement with dh and I but please do NOT let it be BELLA. There were about 4 Bella's in our child's class. In my opinion, way too many in one room. LOL Glad you came up with a beautiful little name.
