Weight gain???

This is my first FET so I don't have any prior experience - has anyone else gained weight after starting meds for an FET? I just happened to weigh myself at the gym the day I started Lupron and all was good. A week later I went in for u/s and bloodwork and the scale at the RE's office showed I had gained 7lbs!! I rechecked on the gym scale and it agrees! I haven't changed my eating habits or exercise routine at all. This week I have really stepped up the exercise and been very careful about what I've been eating, but it hasn't made much of a difference. If its the Lupron, then I guess I'll just have to deal with it and hope it will go away if I don't get pg. It's just very frustrating - I wouldn't care so much if I had been slacking on working out or eating a little more than normal, but it sucks to gain weight for no reason.

first i am certainly no heatlh expert, but what you are seeing could be water retention. many drugs make you retain fluid which shows up as extra weight which really isn't the stored kind. I remember being on an antiinflammatory (for a neuroma) and the doctor said don't be surprised if these make you hold on to a few extra pounds of water. Still, water or not, it's still discouraging. If it is water, when you stop the drugs your system should give back the excess fluid too.

Dear Twee,
How is it going? This is tennis101 again. I'm wondering how it went with the FET? I am currently undergoing treatment for cancer but I froze my eggs for the chance I can use them in the future. I'm just curious how your experience was iwth frozen eggs.
