Just wondering if anyone has any experience or thoughts with this type of situation. Since I have a diminished ovarian reserve but my ovary is still working now should I try another egg retrieval now while it's still a viable option & keep my others frozen just to keep my options open in case my attempts are not successful or should I just utilize the frozen embryos now & take the chance that they may not result in pregnancy & then I won't be able to do another ER later due to poor or no ovarian functioning. The frozen embryos are pre chemo & I'm 38.

Why not keep as much of your powder dry as you can? (Ahem, poor metaphor.) Presuming you are willing to take the chance that you might be successful for another a year or so, and be an "older" mom, why not try to use your eggs while that is still an option? If necessary you could always fall back on plan B.
Just my thoughts. |

Not sure where to post this, so I'll try here in "General"...
Anyone notice all the media conversation about "designer babies?" It has to do with families wanting to "order" babies with specific eye color, etc. Very curious that this is followoing on the heels of teh octupluts situation. Any else noticing this? |
