Congratulations on that.

Is it rude to ask how you are paying for this?
does your insurance cover it?
I am trying to get some ideas how we can puruse it too.
Best!

Well, I’ve finally committed to having an ivf cycle. It took me a while to come to this decision, but now we’re on the calendar and I can’t wait to get started. Everything is set to begin in July. Any other July cycle buddies out there? Give me a shout. Let’s do it together!

To Want to Conceive: You don't say how old you are, but have you thought about DHEA? It's an over-the-counter medication some doctors now think may benefit women in their mid to late 30's with questionable fsh (In fact, I may have even seen it somewhere on this site?...)

I know I've written here about his before, but once again here is my buckaboo, initials....

I know what ifv is, but what is dhea? I am going to see an infertility clinic soon want to be further checked to see why I don't have a baby yet. Someone told me ivf might help me but at this I am interested in learning about everything... even more initials.

HSG, LAP, Post-coital test, Hysteroscopy, once you begin the process a saline sonogram, blood work, fsh levels, if over 35 some doctors will do a clomid challenge tests. I think that's about it. Good luck w/ everything. ++++ thoughts.

Never heard of DHEA used for IVF procedure. Here is what I found by doing a google search: DHEA - MayoClinic.com

We heard about a place in NY that offers reduced rate ivf. I am considering to find out if I qualify. They also provide full services, so I am not sure what is the difference between full or eco.

The eco thing is for real, but it doesn't look that we will qualify. However I am reading up on DHEA. That's something I haven't tried yet! (Hard to beleive!)
