Need encouragement and success stories!

I went into my clinic today to have an u/s. I've been on BCP's for 2 weeks and I start Lupron and Follistim soon. ER is scheduled. Well, I have a follie on my right ovary that is 20x21. My doctor said they see this a lot when you first start BCP's. I go back in soon to see if it is smaller or gone. If not they will cancel my cycle this month... This is my first IVF cycle.

Has anyone ever heard of this??

I think if you are over 50 years old, you will need a miracle medicine to become pregnant. It is begining to feel that way, anyway.

I would like to know exactly what the numbers are for success with ivf (or any fertility treatment) in women over 50... anyone know?

I am interested in attempting an IVF for the second time, but am almost 51. I know the odds are against me, but want to try, so my question is, who will accept me at this age for a try at an IVF cycle? Does anyone know?

You should Look into it. It's helping some "older" women become pregnant.
