Use of Stent?

I have been planning to go for ivf and want to use a stent. I’m not sure about that. Does it remain in place? does this complicate the chance for infection?

I am fascinated to read this! I had no idea this kind of procedure was being used in other applications beyond heart treatment. It makes all kinds of sense. I need to find our more info. If anyone knows where I can look, please advise. Otherwise, I will see what I can find and report back.
