43 and 5 + 2 sons

Hello, I am43 , fit , activ mama I would love to have another baby. but a girl and trough a IVF (gender selection) Personnaly, I think it is possible. but Do somebody think the contrary, and why ?
I have, and neither my hubby, no family history of disease, on complication, or hard medical history... both healthy and athletic, ready to welcome another baby.

i have a sister in law who did exactly what you say, only she had a son. so its definately possible. as to whether this sort of thing is right or not, i don't understand those who say this sort of thing is not right. what do they base that on? we use science to cure cancer and improve the world in any way we can. So what's the diference here? I think you should do what's right for you and your husband.

I feel the same. Anyone who wears glasses or gets their teeth fixed or is vacinated should feel the same. I know there are some factions who will not allow their people to use modern medicine because of their beliefs, and that is their business. But I wouldn't dream of telling them what to do, nor would appreciate them trying to tell me what to do.
This seems a very basic principle of individual freedom.
Wow, don't I sound high and mighty! Sorry for that, that's not how i usually speak or write. Just an interesting subject, I guess, and I probably take freedom for granted and don't appreciate often enough how much I just assume that everyone does.
